Steps to Export vCard files into MS Outlook and Excel format
Download and Install the software in your system, so you can perform vCard Conversion following the easy instructions given below. Make sure to use only Windows Operating System for the conversion.
Once the software is launched the software in your machine, then start performing vCard Conversion by following detailed procedure as mentioned below.
Step 1 - Locate & Select vCard Files
Go to Start menu » Programs »SoftSpire vCard Converter » SoftSpire vCard Converter
Step 2 - Browse vCard File
- Browse vCard file (single file conversion) – So, once you have selected the file(s) through the “Browse vCard File” option, click on “Open” button. Then the file name will appear in the “Select vCard (.vcf) File(s)” section, there you can check if you have chosen the right file for conversion.
- Browse Folder (multiple file conversion) – When you have selected the folder through “Browse Folder” option, click on the “Ok” button. Then the folder name will appear on the “Select vCard (.vcf) File(s)” section.
Step 3 - Choose the Conversion Mode
There are two of them provided, i.e - “Normal Mode” and “Advance Mode”. Must the Normal Mode ever fail; you can always go ahead with the conversion, with Advance Mode.
Step 4 - Choose the “Saving Options”
There are two saving option for you to choose from Excel/CSV (.xls) and Outlook (.pst).
Step 5 - Last Step of Conversion
After carefully selecting all your options, simply click on “Convert vCards” button. The software will ask you to choose location to save the converted files. After choosing the location, the software will start converting the files.
Step 6 - Done
After the completion of the whole procedure, a box will appear with the message indicating the successful conversion of the vCard files.
View Converted PST Files in Outlook
Once the conversion procedure is over, the converted PST files automatically opens on MS Outlook. Then go to the contacts section, find the converted PST file (i.e “contacts-imported contacts”) and click on it. Then you will see the vCard contacts appearing on the right hand side.

If you have choosen Excel/CSV (.xls) option, then the contacts will be viewed like this. From MS Excel File >> Save As option, you can also save the files in CSV format.
