Steps to Convert MDaemon files to PST format

Launch the Software from:
Start » Programs » SoftSpire MDaemon to PST Converter » SoftSpire MDaemon to PST Converter. And The first software screen is before you.
The program gives you 2 conversion options:
Single MDaemon Mailbox: For those users who have 1 or few mailboxes for conversion only. If you use this option then only a single PST file will be created by the software. Read More
Multiple Mailboxes: For those users who have large number of mailboxes for conversion. If you use this option then separate PST files will be created for separate Mailboxes. This option is best suited for large scale conversion projects. Read More
Process for Single MDaemon Mailbox
This option is best suited for those users who only have few mailboxes for conversion, this software can convert only 1 user mailbox at a time & creates a single PST file for the messages.
Select Single MDaemon Mailbox
If you want to migrate single folder only, then select Single MDaemon Mailbox & click on Next
Step 2 - Select the Mailbox
When next display screen appears, click on Select button
Step 3 - Now select MDaemon Mailbox
Next the Browse for Folder Window appears. Navigate to the location where you have MDaemon Mailbox Folder stored & select the mailbox
Step 4 - Next
Now click on Next button
Step 5 - Start Conversion
As the next display screen appears, to proceed further with the process, click on the Start Conversion Button
Step 6 - Choose Location
Now you will be asked to choose a location to save the file after conversion. From Save as Box, choose a location & then Click on Save button
Step 7 - Process Starts
When you have accurately completed all the above mentioned steps, the software will begin the conversion task.
Step 8 - Process Finish!
You will be alerted with a completion messages, when the entire conversion is done.
Now the files are converted, so you can open them in MS Outlook
Process for Multiple Folders
With Unlimited License of the software you will be provided with multiple folders conversion option. The software will convert multiple users' mailboxes at once & create separate PST files for separate Mailboxes
Step 1 - Select Multiple mailboxes
Choose Multiple Mailboxes option & click on Next button
Note: Multiple Mailboxes conversion option will be available with UNLIMITED LICENSE only.
Step 2 - Click on Select
As the next display screen appears, click on Select button
Step 3 - Now select Folder
As browse for folder window appear, simply go to the location where you have folder containing multiple MDaemon Mailboxes store.
Select the root folder & Click on Next.
Step 4 - Folders List
Next, the software will display the number of mailboxes the root folder contains
Step 5 - Check on Folders
For converting all the mailboxes, tick on "Check All" option.
To convert selective file, simply tick before the mailboxes
*Note: The software does not convert blank folders
Step 6 - Change Output Location
Software opts for Desktop as output location by default. To make modification to the location, click on Change Button
Step 7 - Choose location
As the browse for folder Window appears, select a relevant location to save the PST files after conversion
Now choose an Output location from the Browse for Folder Windows, Click on OK & then click on Next button
Step 8 - Start Conversion
Now click on Start Conversion button, as you see in the next screen
Step 9 - Process Starts
The software start converting the mailboxes, 1 by 1 & also shows the progress status to you.
Step 10 - Process Finish!
You are alerted with a completion message, when the process is over. Separate PST for separate Mailbox is created by the software.
Now the files are converted, so you can open them in MS Outlook
Steps to Open PST file in MS Outlook
Step 1 - Open Outlook
Open MS Outlook then go to File » Open » Open Data file option
Step 2 - Choose File
Now browse for the converted PST file, select the file & click on OK
*Note: If you have multiple PST files then repeat the process until you have all the PST files in MS Outlook
Step 3 - PST in Outlook
Now you have all PST files in MS Outlook
